>>The year is believed to be 636†.

>>The true year is long lost knowledge.  Days are no longer being counted into the future but instead counted down to our doom.    Each year remaining is notated with a “†” or “Till Death” …  Till the death of the universe and all within it.

>>As the stars flicker out one by one and the universe is entering its final age of its slow cold demise a war is waged for the last vestiges of mankind.  At the center of the universe beats the heart of the machine mind known as the Great Kauldron, a relic of before the time of creation in which man and all biological lifeforms had once crawled from.

>>The humming god-machine is threatened by the schemes of the  Daedus, souls of the dead not yet laid to rest.  KORPSRs are the only thing that can hold back the dark tides until eventually all is consumed, and the Silence is for evermore eternal.

DED MTL is my take on a certain grimdark wargame without a certain company whose initials are GW. It started as a side project for me and my friends to play wargames without rules bloat.  This is a work in progress, expect typos, grammatical mistakes, and rules imbalances until I can clean it up more.

furthermore, this is just the core rules. I will be uploading Faction Codices as I make them as they are necessary to play. included here is the core book for both digital and print.

The print version is already laid out for booklet form. Simply print as you would any other pdf (duplexed) and fold each page in half.

Looks very cool! Can't wait to see the first faction/unit rules to see how it all comes together on the tabletop.

When will the full rules for units be aviable? I'm really eager to try this at the table

Im doing some playtesting atm, expanding missing areas in the rules and while I’m doing that writing out unit factions. Hopefully I’m hoping to have the rerelease and two factions done sometime in November.

The worldbuilding and art in this is exceptional; I'd honestly kill for a TTRPG in the same setting! A Dark Heresy to your 40k, as it were.

Don’t tempt me so! I’d love to make that. got a lot of projects lined up to burn through first though, including finishing this one! Lol

What little art you have is so cool. I'm super into this game just for that alone. I can't wait to play this with some friends using my own collection of 3D printed minis. I look forward to seeing what you'll do next.

Thank you! I hope you and your friends enjoy it, I'd love to hear how it goes. I'm always open to feedback!
